U.S. justice, Bush Family Evil Empire Style
[On December 24, 1992] George Herbert Walker (Pappy) Bush pardoned:
bank robbers;
gun-runners;
embezzlers,(but Kneel Bush didn't need a pardon because, since
he's a Bush, he wasn't charged);
tax cheats;
campaign cheaters;
kickback conspirators (probably B.F.E.E. business);
narco bandits;
killers;
more tax evaders;
mail thieves;
Worker's Comp frauds;
more gun runners;
speed dealers;
outright traitors (but St. Reagan didn't need a pardon because
Bush pardoned all his co-conspirators to bury the truth);
forgers;
an AWOL bastard (but not Greedy and Stupid because he's
royalty? thus never charged);
another deserter;
another bank robber;
a customs violator (but not Columba Bush, who is Jeb's wife.
She's royalty, so she just paid a little fine, no pardon
required for her);
a heroin dealer;
a pot dealer caught with 10+ pounds;
another bank robber;
another AWOL guy (Bush seems partial to AWOLs and deserters?
I wonder why?);
a bid-rigger (obviously another B.F.E.E. contact);
another heroin dealer;
Plus one guy named Paul Karsten Fauteck, who was convicted of:
1) Interstate transportation of stolen motor vehicles,
2) Conspiracy to smuggle alien into United States and
attempting to conceal an alien,
3) Transporting false securities in interstate commerce,
4) Absent without leave from Army and wrongful disposition of
government property,
5) Absent without leave
This guy got a Bush pardon?
I guess his family paid the B.F.E.E. a lot of money.
And, of course, the American whore media looked the other way.
There was no investigation, no outrage, no uproar.

While scanning the internet for references
to my work, etc., I stumbled across your article "U.S. Justice, Evil Empire Style," dated
July 3, 2002, in which you refer to my pardon and commutation
by George Bush on December 24, 1992. I had to laugh out loud
at
the amazement expressed that Bush would pardon a desperado like
myself, and the speculation that I must have paid a lot of money
to the Bush Family Evil Empire.
Fact is, I am a Democrat, and for at least 30 years have not given
a penny to any Republican candidate or cause, to the best of my
recollection. That long list of federal crimes for which I was pardoned
were all non-violent offenses, not involving sex or drugs, all committed
before I was 21 years of age. I didn't know anyone in the federal
government; I applied for a pardon through the Department of Justice,
and underwent an exhaustive investigation. I paid an attorney, Marian
Neudel, a well-known Chicago area liberal activist, to advise me
about filling out the forms and assist me in obtaining some of the
records required. The total I paid was only a few hundred dollars.
No one in the Dept. of Justice, the Bush Administration, or the
FBI (the agency that investigated me) asked me for a dime, nor did
anyone ask me about my political affiliation. It was about five
years from my application to the granting of the pardon. (I have
been told that less than 10% of such requests are granted.) If anyone
involved in the process was impressed in any way about me, it was
certainly not my wealth?? I had a total of about $8,000 in liquid
assets at that time. They may have been impressed that after leaving
prison with a GED and $20, I stayed out of trouble for the next
33 years, now actually 43 years. Or perhaps they were impressed
that I was employed as a psychologist by a support agency of the
world's largest criminal justice court system, that I had obtained
a doctoral degree without ever getting a grade lower than A-minus,
that I was a former president of the Chicago Psychological Association,
and other such facts.
I'm not at all offended by the article,
as I'm well aware that many people, including some who should
know better, believe that
any "convicted felon" is an unredeemable demon. Some U.S.
reporters were, however, better informed and wrote articles about
me at the time of my pardon, expressing admiration and respect.
Usually the "they're all rotten so lock 'em up and throw away
the key" opinions come from the right, not the left! It might
have been less ironic had my pardon come from President Carter
or
President Clinton, but George Herbert Walker Bush was the one who
signed it. I wrote him a letter of appreciation, and received a
gracious and apparently hand-signed reply.
You may want to check my website, crimrehab.com
(which is currently undergoing some badly needed renovation)
and perhaps even order
a copy of my book, "Going Straight; An Ex-Convict Psychologist
Tells Why and How." In fact, I won't object if you order a
couple hundred copies and get them into jail and prison cells!
Even if your conclusions about me and my
pardon were a little off target, your website is very amusing
and I wish you a lot of success
with it. ("Oh my God, Mr. Ashcroft, did you hear that? Some
ex-convict likes their work! We'd better investigate those guys!")
Cordially,
Paul K. Fauteck, Psy.D., DABPS
